Al via, domani (11 febbraio 2012), la mostra “Gli angeli dell’amore in Certosa”. In occasione della Festa degli innamorati, dall’11 al 28 febbraio 2012, la Soprintendenza BAP di Salerno e Avellino, diretta da Gennaro Miccio, espone negli ambienti della Foresteria Nobile, presso la Certosa di Padula, tre dipinti – olio su tavola – raffiguranti vivaci angioletti che portano corone di fiori nelle mani oppure una palma, vagamente avvolti in un colorato manto rosso e con bianchi cartigli svolazzanti recanti iscrizioni tratte dalle sacre scritture. La mostra dal titolo “Gli angeli dell’amore in Certosa” riguarda quadri, inediti, ascrivibili alla fine del XVI secolo, tratti dai depositi che custodiscono le poche opere d’arte superstiti dell’ex Monastero Certosino di Padula. Probabilmente decoravano ambienti cenobitici del Convento, anche se non è da escludere un originario uso degli stessi quali ante di armadio, viste le raffinate tracce di decorazioni geometriche presenti sul retro. In ogni caso, esse appartengono ad un più vasto ciclo composto da dodici tavolette (cm. 73 x 56 ciascuna), tutte raffiguranti angeli, con simboli delle virtù certosine e sacre iscrizioni che citano frammenti di brani biblici in cui si elogiano tutte quelle anime che amano e servono Dio, meritevoli della futura e preziosa ricompensa celeste, come espresso in uno dei cartigli meglio conservati: “Accipient Regnum decoris, et diadema speciei de manu Domini . Sap. V.”. L’iniziativa è curata dalla dott.ssa Eufemia Baratta.

La Certosa di Padula, fondata nel 1306, riconosciuta dall’Unesco Patrimonio dell’Umanità nel 1998, nel 2002 è stata inserita dalla Regione Campania nel novero dei Grandi Attrattori Culturali, si estende su un’area di 51000 mq tra spazi coperti, chiostri ed aree verdi, ed è il simbolo della continua osmosi tra vita contemplativa e vita vissuta, tra ascetismo e creatività. Il monumento è visitabile dalle 9.00 / 19.30 (ultimo ingresso alle ore 19.00). L’ingresso è gratuito per tutti i cittadini appartenenti all’Unione Europea, di età inferiore ai 18 anni e superiore ai 65, per disabili e ad un loro familiare o ad altro accompagnatore che dimostri la propria appartenenza a servizi di assistenza socio-sanitaria . L’ingresso gratuito è consentito anche a particolari categorie di studenti o insegnanti (architettura, storia dell’arte,ect.).
Il biglietto, pari a 4 €, è ridotto del 50% per i giovani di età compresa tra i 18 anni e i 25 anni così come per gli insegnanti di ruolo nelle scuole statali italiane. L’ingresso, invece, al parco della Certosa è gratuito. At the start, tomorrow (February 11, 2012), the exhibition “Angels of Love in the Charterhouse.” On the occasion of the Feast of love, 11 to 28 February 2012, the BAP Superintendent of Salerno and Avellino, directed by Gennaro Miccio, exhibited in the rooms of the Guest Noble, at the Certosa di Padula, three paintings – oil on panel – featuring lively angels bearing wreaths of flowers in his hands, loosely wrapped in a colorful robe with red and white fluttering scrolls bearing inscriptions taken from the scriptures. The exhibition titled “The angels of love in the Charterhouse” covers paintings, unpublished, attributable to the late sixteenth century, drawn from deposits that preserve the few surviving works of art of the former Carthusian Monastery of Padula. Probably cenobitic decorated rooms of the convent, although it is not ruled out an original use of the same as cabinet doors, having refined traces of geometric decoration on the back. In any case, they belong to a wider cycle of twelve tablets (cm. 73 x 56 each), all depicting angels with symbols of the virtues painstaking and sacred inscriptions mentioning fragments of Biblical passages in which they praise all those souls who love and serve God, precious and worthy of future heavenly reward, as expressed in one of the best preserved scrolls: “Regnum Accipient decoris, tiara speciei et de maintenance domains. Sap. V. “. The initiative is managed by Dr Euphemia Baratta.

The Certosa di Padula, founded in 1306, Unesco’s World Heritage in 1998 and in 2002 was inserted by the Campania Region ranks in the Great Cultural Attractions, covers an area of 51000 square meters of covered space, and cloisters green areas, and is the symbol of the continuous interplay between real life and the contemplative life, between asceticism and creativity.
The monument is open from 9:00 / 19:30 (last admission at 19.00).
Admission is free for all citizens of the European Union, under the age of 18 years and over 65, disabled and a family member or other companion who is his membership in health and social care services.
Free access is allowed even to particular categories of students or teachers (architecture, art history, ect.).
The ticket is 4 €, is reduced by 50% for young people aged between 18 years and 25 years as well as for permanent teachers in Italian state schools.
The entrance, however, the park is free of the Charterhouse.
